Attorney Jerry “Jay” Williams, III cares about his clients. For over ten years, Jay has represented individuals in and out of court across the state of Maryland and Washington, D.C., during difficult times for clients. Jay has aggressively fought for his clients and pursued financial awards for people suffering a devastating injury after an accident. He has battled for clients pursuing divorce and child custody, advocated for the rights of disabled workers before the Social Security Administration, and represented individuals accused of crimes before the court.

When you or a loved one is going through a difficult legal situation, Jay is the attorney for you to call. If you want an attorney that is a good listener, and able to understand your legal needs and be successful, Jay has the experience, skill, and compassion to understand and analyze your legal situation in your time of need.

Following in a long line of lawyers including his grandfather and father, who represented individuals in a wide range of issues including civil rights advocacy and representing disabled individuals, Jay became a lawyer to continue the legacy focusing on protecting the rights of others. He pursues each case with tenacity and poise. He began his career in a boutique law firm specializing in family law cases, including divorce, child custody and child support cases, and protecting the interest of homeowners who had been scammed by companies that forced them into foreclosure, while taking the equity from their homes. Jay continues to provide quality affordable legal representation to individuals.

Jay is licensed to practice in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia. He finds time to provide pro bono help to individuals who cannot afford legal representation. Jay was recognized by retired Chief Judge Robert Bell and Governor Martin O’Malley for his contribution to the Foreclosure Prevention Pro Bono Project in the State of Maryland.  He has also been recognized by the Montgomery County Bar Association for Outstanding Pro Bono Service and has represented several clients filing for divorce and child custody who were unable to afford an attorney in Maryland.  He is an active member in the community and the jurisdictions that he serves and continues to believe that everyone has a right to be represented.
